Shandur Polo Festival
Day 1: Islamabad – Besham – Chilas
- Early departure from Islamabad for Chilas via Abbottabad, Mansehra and Thakot.
- Night stay at Chilas Hotel
Day 2: Chilas – Karimabad (Hunza Valley)
- Departure for Hunza Valley, making photo stops at Junction Point of 3 mountain ranges and Rakaposhi view point.
- On arrival transfer to hotel and rest of the time free to visit Baltit Fort.
- Night stay in Karimabad Hotel
Day 3: Karimabad – Gilgit – Phander
- We left for Gilgit and started driving along the Gilgit river to Ghizer valley.
- After crossing Gupis, we further drive to Phander and transfer to hotel on arrival.
- Night stay at Phandar Valley
Day 4: Phander – Excursion Shandur Pass for Polo Festival – Mastuj
- We drive to Shandur Pass and enjoy the thrilling Polo competitions at one of the highest Polo grounds in the world.
- In the afternoon, we drive to Mastuj in Chitral valley and transfer to hotel on arrival.
- Night stay at Mastuj
Day 5: Mastuj – Chitral – Bumburet
- We drive to Chitral and after a brief stopover, further drive to Bamburet, the main village of Kalash valley.
- Night stay at PTDC Motel / Local Inn
Day 6: Bamburet – day free
- Day free to enjoy the exotic culture of the Kalasha tribe and the picturesque valley.
- Night stay at Chitral
Day 7: Bamburet – Dir – Islamabad
- Early departure for Islamabad driving through Lowari & Malakand pass.
- On arrival drop at one designated place.
